BluMuslin is an online boutique retailer offering a curated selection of designer clothing to Indian audiences worldwide. The brand's mission was to make high-quality, authentic fashion accessible to customers who may have had limited options, catering specifically to the preferences and needs of Indians living abroad.
To establish a strong connection to the brand's heritage while appealing to its contemporary audience, I created a modern interpretation of a traditional motif. A vibrant yellow and blue colour palette was chosen to bring freshness and energy to the brand. The use of two distinct hues of blue helped to visually differentiate "blu" and "muslin," ensuring clarity in the brand name's pronunciation. Combined with custom typography, this unique fusion of traditional inspiration and modern design elements created a strong, memorable identity for BluMuslin, reflecting the brand's commitment to both its cultural roots and a modern, accessible shopping experience.
